I make each of my hats by hand in my Berlin studio. Based on the traditional craft of millinery, I look for new approaches to design. A clear language of form should fulfill the aesthetic as well as functional demands of the wearer:in. Natural minerals, such as rabbit hair or wheat straw, I work partly with techniques that I borrow from other trades. Stitch by stitch, unique pieces with character are created, without any frippery.
