Statement
Svenja John (*1963) is a Berlin-based jewelry designer known for her unique artistic approach. For her designs, she uses state-of-the-art computer-aided production methods, such as high-precision waterjet cutters and the latest developments in additive manufacturing.She refines the resulting polycarbonate parts with a finish of individually mixed and very finely pigmented acrylic paints to create extraordinary color and shape compositions.
The coloring and assembly of the individual parts is done by traditional handwork. Sculptural jewelry unique pieces in the unmistakable John style are created.
New to my latest jewelry creations is the use of coral red 3D-printed nylon. These elements have been dyed with a skin-friendly dye that has been tested in the eyewear industry.
