Statement

A narrative shaped by my challenge of breaking boundaries formed within a conservative society and a male-dominated environment of traditional Persian metal engraving in Iran. Beginning my training at the age of thirteen under a traditional master–apprentice system grounded in silence, obedience, and repetition, I gradually experienced both body and mind confined within rigid structures.
Through a contemporary reinterpretation of tradition, using materials such as Kombucha leather , Worbla and stone, I create a dialogue between past and present. My work becomes a personal exploration through which I redefine identity, the body, and the boundaries of creative expression.
