Statement

Inspired by the inconspicuous, pristine beauty of the easily overlooked aspects of nature, the label Alchenie - naturally dyed was born. Recycled materials such as cotton, linen and silk are artfully enhanced by the special plant dyeing technique Ecoprinting.
For the purely vegetable dyeing, the plant parts are mainly harvested from the Leipzig area itself and processed.
Also the cut design may not be disregarded. Here, mostly rectangular cuts are used to reduce waste. Each garment stands alone and brings its own little story. The unique plant dyeing technique Ecoprinting creates unique, seemingly imperfect surface designs. With both natural artificial staged surface design, the garments stand for authenticity and truthfulness.
