Statement
In my work, I often look for inspiration from natural elements, for which I use direct casts from various plants. I also strive to combine both traditional form-making and craft practices with new digital technologies. I try to create pieces that go beyond our conventional idea of jewelry, that expand the field of contemporary jewelry objects with greater social and emotional engagement. I like the challenges my work presents to me: to transform an idea, a thought, a feeling into matter and form, looking for the best combination.As a child, my love of drawing led me to the High School of Applied Arts, majoring in artistic metalworking. After that, I continue again with the specialty "Metal" at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Where I completed my bachelor's and master's degrees under the supervision of Prof. Dimitar Delchev. And in 2021 I am finishing my PhD at the Academy of Arts in Sofia with the topic "Digital technologies in jewelry art"
