For several years I deal with geometric shapes. This creates small objects that attach themselves to the body and call jewelry. They seem like a mixture of architectural model and grown structure. From light, sketchy outlines developed over the years these massive-looking hollow bodies. The appeal of the painterly surface and the demonstratively imperfect form remained constant. Only at second glance the material silver can be guessed.
Starting point of the group "growing bodies" are loose drawings and paper models. From a surface, hollow mounted objects are created by unwinding. During the bending of the silver sheet I react to the emerging body and allow a change of the original idea. In addition to the form, the surface is crucial, this develops through the partially left traces of work. The oxidized silver gives rise to painterly surfaces, some of which I paint.
