Statement

A flat mold with white enameled background serves as a canvas. The classical techniques of enamel painting are reinterpreted by spraying and sandblasting to add and remove color between multiple firings. The illusion of a three-dimensional body is created, and with it a three-dimensional space that exists only in the perception of the viewer.
