My work focuses on the combination of book design, print graphics and binding. The spectrum ranges from artist books to original graphic playing cards to illuminated objects. Thus my work moves in the area of tension from free graphics to applied art. The artist's book "Von der magia naturalis" is a double book that combines a treatise on the cultural history of magic and natural science with a woodcut that illustrates and interweaves aspects of magia naturalis examined in the book. Fragments of the graphic were processed into illuminated objects.
