Statement

The thought of a peaceful armor drives me around. A soft necklace that almost animalistic, or supposedly warlike, like the mane of a dignified lion, frames my head and strengthens my back. In the affectionate - protective activity of braiding, the maternal power of many generations is concentrated. As we read this, braids are being braided in one country on earth. With the knowledge of this global commonality of an everyday craft ritual, I braid countless strands of cotton and bind them, as in a constantly repeating mantra, to a peaceful round: jewelry, protection, shield at the same time: a peaceful armor.
