Statement

Michelle Mohr designs and manufactures unique rugs for walls and floors. Her product line also includes seat cushions, pillows and blankets made from regional, German and recycled sheep's wool. The combination of natural and dyed sheep's wool is the focus of her work. The tension resulting from the strict graphic design, contrasts with the material properties of the soft sheep's wool. The moving surface of her surface felt results from her own felting method.
Using a specially developed technique derived from macramé, your rugs are handmade knot by knot. The resulting unique structure creates a textile work of art that is both aesthetically pleasing and suitable for everyday use.
