Since 2009, the diefabrik collective has been developing unique products in an old factory building in Leipzig. Only high-quality and sustainable materials are used or worked according to the principle of repurposing, i.e. recycling through innovative reinterpretation. diefabrik aims to build up a niche production as diverse as possible, where serial products with a unique character can be produced and sold without outsourcing and without the disadvantages of mass production Pepe, the pepper mill is a project that has enriched diefabrik's range since 2012. To do justice to the diversity and potential of Pepe, since 2022 there is the own presence Pepe&Co. All products of Pepe&Co. are created from recycled balusters or table legs, some of which are up to 100 years old. This repurposing allows on the one hand an almost inexhaustible variety of shapes as well as unique one-offs and on the other hand nevertheless an economical production in small series. The pepper mills are handmade in Leipizig and equipped with a high-quality Swiss steel grinder. A salt grinder is also available on request.
